When you are living above your means, you are under a constant pressure to maintain 'The Things'.....Your Challenge--Be More With Less." I agree with this completely & have started downsizing with my 'things'.

Like jewelry, it gets tarnished from continual interaction with a messy & negative world. Remember to take time regularly to renew your mind in order to keep moving in the direction of the life that you desire."

I've been doing some of the recommended exercises & based on them have come up with more extensive ones to meet my personal needs. Regarding downsizing things: I'm committed to one grocery bag a day removed from my office or closet. Things are going to Goodwill or garbage. If it doesn't work, I don't want it any more, or it doesn't bring me pleasure it's gone. I feel better already.

Last chapter was to define your purpose with exercises to help do so. After defining your purpose, take action to reach it. Basically feel the fear & do it anyway.

It's a good read for someone searching to enhance their life. Starting any day of the year is a recommended step to take & an admirable step too.

I found this quick read insightful and delightful to read. Reminds me to stay focused on Gods plans for my life.
This is an excellent read! The 5 resolutions are very useful and unique, they are things that everyone should get to read and put to use. As the author says in the book, it is true that these resolutions can be used any time of the year, not just at the start of a new year.
I definitely recommend this book. The advice is great and I think everyone should buy and read this!
I like the information in the book and it was easy to read. It re-enforced what I already know but gave me inspiration to get back to "action" on planning and acting on my future. I would enjoy expansion on building wealth for an older already retired person who doesn't have 20-30 years of saving to look forward to.
The timeliness of this book--it's New Years Eve--made me decide to read it. And I'm glad I did. It was short, concise, and full of good advice. I liked the idea of a yearly mental checkup. I found the section on reevaluating friendships very helpful as I have lost contact with many colleagues in retirement. Not the same ole same ole self-improvement advice.
There is a lot of very valuable information contained in this book. It will make a difference in a lot of people's lives. I truly think that it crosses a bunch of different categories of people as well. So whatever your struggles, weaknesses, and differing situations are, there is a way to fine tune the tips towards your own life. So many good points are made that will challenge your preconceived notions about self-improvement and self-help.

I would also say that 5 Anytime Resolutions is incredible powerful, motivating, and all-around interesting. I learned so much from it about myself, my worldview, my vision for the future, and how I perceive the past. Highly recommended!
